you know i dont remember the last time i paid so much attention to this prologue? maybe just bc i knew i couldn't blitz into chapter one i was trying to stretch it out? but idk it felt very vivid, the cold and the fear and how kick ass it was the first time to read waymar royce standing up again after the others wreck his shit

also spent a lot more time thinking about how interesting it is that he has command of the party despite only having been at the wall for a few months vs the years/lifetime of will and gared, fuckin nobles man!!
